Well it's Mike from Ditchingham! Hello fella! I definately am, cos my mum said so None of the others are though, they're just employed to do the mundane 'work' stuff, i'm there purely for eye-candy (If i keep winking like this i'm gonna get called a winker. Either that or i'm gonna attract some unwanted attention).

As you can guess from the name, yes, i am the son of Norman Plumpton, and after my dad telling me this website was here, I thought Id have a look.


some of you may remember me playing with trucks on my dads desk, and sharing in the odd traditional cheese rolls at lunchtime.


im now a part time youth worker with Connexions and reading Politics at Liverpool John Moores University.


anyway, really good website, but dig some more piccis of my dad out.

  hi there folks from new zealand,just a note to say its really cool to see pride and comradeship is not dead,brought tears to my eyes reading some of the stuff on this site an looking at the old gear,i originally come from herefordshire we had wagons too and i remember you blokes well,we came to new zealand in 1972 so remember the AEC days shame you have been reduced to soft euro trucks,we have a choice here and mines Kenworth, cheers an beers.
