Does anyone know of any old surviving trucks?The 2 old Leyland 8-wheelers KAH 45V,UAH 13R were both in use as shunters til early last year before facing the dreaded torch! E995HPV Scania 92M was being used as a shunter at Roy humphrey's at Eye but believe its now heading for a similar fate.An unconfirmed report of an old 8-wheeler Leyland Octopus on a farm at Lolworth,Cambs?Can someone confirm this or come up with any other sightings?
Just to confirm the old Leyland 8-wheeler was scrapped just over a year ago due to a rotten cab,it was at Grange farm,Lolworth,Cambs as reported,it was being used as a farm shunter,sadly maybe that was the oldest surviving Burroughes vehicle
spotted today Nov 30th 2004,going up the M11 possibly towards yorkshire was B877 SPW ex Burroughes F10,Looked in very good condition on the back of a low loader with another F10 pulling it,maybe on its way to a restoration???lets hope so
B877SPW was stolen from Agar transport in 2010 this number plate sticks in my mind as one my Dad had Terry Banks so even though it was still running commercially it may well now be broken for parts abroad
